There's already over two metres of snow in the alpine at Whistler Blackcomb. Mark Sollors and Chris Rasman were amongst a lucky few to be taken by heli into the alpine on Blackcomb Mountain for some pre-season turns. The official opening day is scheduled for November 27th, but it wouldn't be surprising if that date is moved forward.
