Bondi Bowl Bash 2026: All The Info

Photography by Luke Brown – @vagabondedit
With the onset of Olympic skateboarding and fanciful arena competitions, grassroots contests like Bondi Bowl Bash are needed more than ever. The Bash returns for its second instalment in 2026, following last year's chaotic (in the best way) event, which saw, among other great things, Hudson Walker land the first-ever 900 at Bondi.
This coming Saturday, February 28, The Bash is set to deliver the kind of lively jam format the community cherishes, building on last year's energy with an even stronger lineup and greater backing from the local community. We're stoked to be supporting the Bondi Bowl Bash for the second year running. Read on for details on the schedule, lineup and format.

Where & When?
📍 Bondi Beach Skatepark, at 102 Campbell Parade (south end of Bondi)
🗓 Saturday, February 28, 2026
⏰ Heats begin at 11am, running until 5pm
🚌 Take the 333 bus from Bondi Junction train station
💵 This is a free event!
The Format
The Bowl Bash format is classic:
- Jam format with ordered runs
- No timed runs
- Timed heats – as many runs as possible in the time
- Skate until you bail
As far as judging goes, 'overall impression' is the key, with judges putting a particular emphasis on fun, use of the whole bowl, and trick diversity. This is a proper old school community-driven jam event, so expect it to be high-octane and fast-paced.

The Lineup
The lineup this year is epic, with a bunch of crew hot off a huge event in Belco the weekend prior. There will be a few surprises too, but for now we can confirm the return of last year's Beast of the Bowl, Taj Wolfenden, alongside 900 extraordinaire Hudson Walker, 2025 Beauty of the Bowl Isla Lillie Bower, X-Games gold medallist Mia Kertzer, Victorian ripper Jake Harvey, young gun Harvey Campbell and a couple of all-time skateboarding legends in the form of THPS alumni Rune Glifberg and '80s Bones Brigade stalwart Nicky Guerrero!
How Do I Watch It?
For those at Bondi on the day, the event is entirely free to attend. Get down there early and secure a good spot – simple as that.
For those who can't make it, we're stoked to have teamed up with LiveHeats to offer free streaming of the contest! Tune in from 1pm Saturday to see all the finals, best trick and highest air events, right here at this link.
Can I Skate The Event?
It's an open event, which means anyone can sign up and compete. You'll have to simply register at this link, and then you're good to go on Saturday.
See you down there.
Final Word
Ti Coleing, the event's organiser and the man behind Bondi Skateriders, has run over 30 grassroots contests at Bondi in the last 15 years. We'll leave you with his words on why community-led events are still important in 2026:
"I feel that grassroots and community events are really important in skating to create gatherings so everyone can get together and have sessions with those they don’t usually get to skate with, to get involved and push everyone’s limits in fun surrounds, as well as providing the platform for up-and-coming shredders to be able to start their journey and be part of the broader scene".
Sounds like a plan. Get down to Bondi on February 28 and get amongst it!
