I think the comp relates to posts made that day, and the winner is announced in the afternoon.
my understanding.. is that its from 12:00am, to 11:59pm that night.. and the winner is announced the next day.. so todays winner (wednesday..) will be announced around lunch time tomorrow (thursday)?

We work it on a day-to-day basis. You have 24 hours to post. 12:00am to 12:00am - one full day. We compile the names for the whole day, i.e. December 19th (calculated on AEST).
