I have family over from Holland at the moment and am hoping to take them to perisher on the weekend. No boarding unfortunately. The reason we are going is as some of you might know, Holland is below sea level and very flat. Tons of snow but that is it. They haven’t been tobogganing or done anything like tube town.
My question is, is the view from the top of the perisher quad chair worth the $28 or so they are asking???
Why don’t ya hit Thredbo and get to have a Hot Choc or a couple of schnapps in the highest restaurant in OZ!!!!!
Yes their Hot Choc is damn awesome HOWEVER…. my car manual says Do NOT fit chains!
So Perisher it is
You cant fit them to this Mizu….though you dont need them on this beast!
^^ That is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time!
that guy seriously has the life! Founder of DC, Pro Rally Driver, Owns DC Mtn Lab, does what ever the hell he wants!
I know… he’s an inspiration. Just shows what hard work can get you.
Mizu I have an BA XR6 falcon
If it’s sunny, just go to Thredbo… they will only ask you to chain up on a snow day or the morning after a blizzard.
and $28 a piece is totally not worth it.
$28 is not worth it, plus $48 per adult return to catch the ‘tube.
Like tjswish said, go to Thredbo if the weather is good. Pay $27 to get the car in the national park, then catch the Kosi chair to Eagles Nest.
If the weather is bad there’s usually no views from anywhere anyway!
Mizu the chains won’t fit in the wheel wells!
I found a deal on the Perisher website: Return Skitube, Foot Passenger Ride on the Perisher Express Quad Chairlift and 5 Tube Rides $75
That’s a pretty good deal. If the weather is clear definitely take them up to Blue Cow and go out to the lookout so they can see the Main Range
pends what you are going for? just to take them to a slope?
why not go to selwyn or somewhere like that?
