I need to buy 4 x GoPro2—-and maybe 10 more later

yeah it was one giant ad, but I didn’t mind that. Its freakin’ 60 minutes…I don’t think anybody watches it for the amazing journalism, do they?

It would be a bit hard to do a story about the success of GoPro and its founder, without mentioning the product?????

It’d be like doin a story on Ray Croc and the success of Maccas, without showin a few Golden Arches and cheeseburgers!!!!!

Avatar

Did you watch it Mizu??

The actually premise of the “story” was POV camera’s. And how people were pushing the boundary’s because of them

But you would be forgiven for thinking GOPro were the only people who made them.

If it has of been a story on the Founder - then I wouldn’t be complaining!

Avatar

Yeah I did watch it oz!!!!!

Were they supposed to do a story on every brand with their founders?????

Avatar

No of course not!

But the story was marketed as POV camera’s so therefore a few should have been mentioned

I could have not cared less (and still would have watched) if it was promoted as a story on GoPros’ founder - but that’s not how the story was produced!

Does it really matter then?????

If they’d done the story about Drift, would you have the same viewpoint?????

If they did a story on fast food and its negative health impacts, you could almost guarantee that Maccas or KFC will be in there, yet there’s a multitude of other places that sell it!!!!!

tell me you are joking? It isn’t even in the same ball park as 4 corners.

Yep definitely not the Pinnacle!!

It was a good entertaining story and that is it! Don’t try and over analyse it too much Oz!

It would appear that he was one of the early adaptors of the POV so give him some credit and stop being a GP hater!

I am not hating GoPro.

Not hating if it was a story about GoPro but that’s not how it was promoted.

I watched 60mins once. I also stabbed myself in the hand with a fork once. Similar experience really.

I stabbed myself in the hand to overcome the pain of watching that blatant infomercial.
It was full of the same GoPro BS consumers have been fed since GoPro starting marketing.

That story was embarrassingly pathetic. Cringeworthy from start to finish.

It was clear those ignorant tossers assumed GoPro were the only POV cameras on the market.

You still looking at getting ten more GoPros CRACKERS?

GoPro are almost sold out of their mid-January preorders, and the one after that too - but if you want some, I may be able to organise a discounted bulk order for you.
