Hi guys,
New to the forum been on snowatch for ages but really sick of the skiers!! Anyway just thought I would ask if anyone owns the mutiny and has any feedack, I like the style just need to try it on to see if it fits!
Honestly, it’s a really good helmet. I have tried it on a few times and it feels really nice. If it fits (also with your goggles), feels comfy, and you like the style, then you should just get it. Try on a few different helmets while you are at the store; you never know, you might find something you like better or that fits better.
Yeah no worries, I have read a few reviews that say it fits well with Oakley Crowbars. I have had a pro tec and my mate has a bern so I know how they feel, but yeah will try whatever else is at the store.
Cheers
i tried it on on saturday, was pretty good, but not as light as the hifi and there are no vents…so if you get a hot head, well you can work it out
the vents are under the brim. It’s a good system. I have the same on my Red Theory. I actually picked up the Mutiny II for next season
Yeah that’s right gamblor the vents are under the brim, I think the mutiny and the Bern’s have a nice style
mutiny = certified helmet, bern = hard hat
mutiny ftw
Bern do certified helmets too!
what does ftw mean?
vents under the brim? so what your steaming hot head sweat comes out in your goggles?
i really did like the style though…even thought that burgundy/reddish coloured one reminds me of a horsey set helmet
i also tried the sandbox one with it’s one size fits all. felt pretty good and comes in sick colours but still think i’ll get another hifi
what does ftw mean?
ftw = for the win
I was could never work that one out for a while till i asked someone

haha cheers mate!
I was happily surprised to see that Bern is now offering certified helmets. Good on them. They are now a brand for consideration in my books next time I need a helmet.
The trend I’m seeing is brands are calling helmets ‘helmets’ and anything else ‘hard hats’.
Looking at the Bern site they explain ’ Hard hats with Brock soft foam do not meet the standards for action sport head protection ‘.
Wow. How many people have bought those hard hats thinking that they are protected. Now, though, you can buy certified helmets from Bern in all the same models so it’s all good.
Looking at the Sandbox Brain bucket, they now offer a certified version of their ‘classic’ brain bucket. Why anyone would buy the regular version which does not provide the protection of a helmet is beyond me. Oh wait, to look cool - that’s it.

air flows into the ducts under the brim (which you can close if you like). The air then flows through the helmet and exit at the back, where there are two open vents. It’s a good system imo. I really like the hifi but the unclose-able vents suck so hard on a windy day
I just got my new Mutiny II sent out to me but the goggle clip is missing! Can anybody tell me what colour it is for the black denim mutiny II? (if you happen to be in a store and see it)
thanks
I am pretty sure the clip is also black
thnx hammo
