He wasn’t down there this weekend was he? There was someone hiking at a frightening pace from Carruthers to Mt Lee and then I saw them heading on to Northcott like they were being chased by Satan, he was really really legging it, couldn’t believe how quick he was going.
I had a good look at the Jones split boards a few weeks back, I think as kids leave home and we get more free time it will be on the investment list
Finding time in amongst family chaos is the hardest part.
That was a massive topic of conversation Azz, we were debating pros and cons of splitboards vs snow shoes, the consensus was that for covering ground on a fresh snow day you would be hard pressed to beat a split, having said that my mate and a bunch of his BC friends only use snowshoes for some reason!
Ah now I remember, they were of the opinion that the boards themselves weren’t as good to ride as a normal board. I pointed out that Xavier and JJ seem to go ok on split boards to name a couple. Would be interested to see what the TRice split would go like!

He’s a posted a couple of times on here in the equipment section!!!!!
I think once joined back together you would be hard pressed to spot (feel) the difference.
I know when I have been booting it up a hill, dudes on skis skinning up and past us make it look shit loads easier.
I snow shoed once in fresh, kept tripping over my own feet so I gave them away and hiked in the steps others created

Yeah I’ve recently been watching Xaviers “Timeline” series and he seems to be doing quite a bit of split boarding on a Rossi Experience. If you haven’t already seen that series you might enjoy it. Plenty of hard work for some of the lines.
Awesome TR and pics Nthn
