First you will need a $25,000 tv to watch it on. Then get hold of the raw footage.

Apparently there is a large number of gp3 being returned. During the firmware upgrade they crash and die PERMANENTLY.
I need to delve more into this rumor.

According to the numbers I heard; 1 in 6 of that GoPro array will be returned as dead units.

Yeah I’ve been reading about the freezing issue.  I believe a new firmware is due mid Dec, hopefully they will fix it.  I’ve got mine on the charger now, just out of the box.  Will give it a spin once the battery is full.

just get ready for more wobbly footage of me falling off boxes and doing tiny jumps at Hotham!

Might take it to the beach in summer and see if I can get any footage while snorkelling.

You can always post it to me, and I’ll get some wobbly footage of Japan for ya?????

I’ll be using it in Jan, but I think you’re going in Feb?  Might be possible!

Only kiddin mate, I wouldn’t wanna break/lose/eat it!!!!! 

Get some RainX for the lens.
Apparently the flat lens is even worse for getting snow stuck over it.

I’ll have a gpH3B by the weekend in my possession.

great tip!  How well does that work for use in say rain or on a rafting trip?

Works unreal in the surf, so it will be sweet for any water sport I reckon!!!!!
