this is so sick. Best board control.
Love this style… thanks for share
At 0:20 what do you call this?
Last month I was stoked I able to do this style plus butterfly turned 720 but not good as this guy…
Sweet! This gives me inspiration to try new butter tricks!
At 0:20 what do you call this?
Pretty sure I’ve heard the Helgasons or Torstein call this the Walrus! Not sure if that is the proper name but that is what I’ve been calling it since I heard it/saw it on one of their vids
its tripod
walrus is slightly different..its no hands…apparently
http://vimeo.com/25335542
this looks like the same guy who did a video a while back
when people said you cant butter on stiff boards…he did it on a custom x
thats the one, humdinga! Tripod it is.
thanks for finding that vid. I love Knut, so I should have remembered!
Sweet vid, mad skills
Yep 0:20 is definitely a Tripod.
Really smooth butter skills. But I gotta say, these are still only intermediate butter tricks. Even I can do all these.
If you want to see the REAL master, watch some videos of MFM.
He showed us all what was possible, and he’s still the best in my opinion.
when it comes to butters
i dont think you can go pass the japanese
masters of ground series
back in 08
Yeah, I love the master of ground series. But I think what makes this guy impressive is that he’s doing it on a stiff cambered Custom X board instead of a soft rocker board.
Masters of ground series you say. Sounds rad, I’ll have to check it out.
Yeah skip I think your right, actually I think him doing it on a camber is what makes it look so clean and snappy.
yeah agree….stiff ass board to butter is what this guy brings to the table
though mid flex cambered is the board of choice for the master of ground people
reason: better pop
. . . what makes this guy impressive is that he’s doing it on a stiff cambered Custom X board instead of a soft rocker board.
Yeah, THIS!!!!!!!!!
It’s the whole deal with combining sharp carves with pinpoint precise spins and butters. I was totally blown away the first time I saw this vid.
