The next Shred, WHERE?

Avatar

Perisher is just so hard to get everything up the mountain. Remember that Rider has to carry a car load of prizes and demos to wherever we have to go and then all the people that help have to carry boxes and stuff as well. This year at Perisher was mad but it is just such a hassle for such a big event.

I think we might have to start having two Shreds each season. Maybe.

Mid season and spring Shred? Mid season Mexico, spring NSW?

I think Thredbo want to lock in a three year commitment for the Shred. I’ll know more next week.

I feel really bad for not having it in Vic, but at the same time I need the support from the resorts to make it happen.

Anyway, just filling you in with where we’re at. I’ll let you know more when I know.

At early stage I was going ask to make 2 shreds one for NSW & VIC, so win and win situation…  cheese
Any thought?

TJ has a point. Logistically it was a nightmare getting all that gear up to the Sundeck, then back to my car in Jindabyne.

silent, I’m definitely going to try make it to Mexico for a mid-season Shred (official or not) during the season.

nthn, it would have been hard waiting as we needed a lot of the gear there right from the start. Thanks anyway, mate. Appreciate the offer. Next year shouldn’t be so bad and I’m going to try get some of the reps to come down themselves, so they can meet our members and help us run the demos.

It was awesome at The Station! We parked right outside our door every night, so we could easily load all our gear straight out of the car and into the room (and vice versa). Quick and easy - loved it!

Though we did that at Thredbo last year as well. Hence being keen for Thredbo to be the resort of choice.

Falls Creek would also be a great location for the same reason!!!!!

You often have to deal with oversnow transport at Falls Creek - and it’s a HUGE ripoff there!

Its very easy to walk your bags to your accom at Falls. If the roads are clear, you can do sneaky drop offs too

Pretty sure that Falls would sort something out in regards to Jez’s gear also!!!!!

Doesnt get any easier than Hotham!!!

Lets just have it in Niseko!!!!!

How far do ya reckon the Station is from there?????
