a mate of mine playing around in the gym a few months ago…
Ouch!!!! Ya can hear the snap loud and clear!!!!!
Copped a spherical fracture. Had to get a specialist down from sydney to operate on him. 8 months on he has most of his use of his arm back (been back at crossfit for 4 months, scaled down of course)
Yeah, I bet ya he’s not keen to get back on the rings again!!!!!
An impressive article on the gullibility and delusional hypocrisy of left-wing voters:

Sorry - if you’re expecting an amusing anecdote or funny youtube video, this isn’t that!
Read this quote as part of uni reading tonight. It articulated a lot of what has been whirring around in my tiny brain for the last little while. Its by someone called T. Massaro.
“On one hand, the dignity of each person should not be dwarfed by the encroachments of runaway technology and huge economic structures that threaten to gobble up human individuality. On the other hand, we should not emphasize our individual rights so strongly that we lose all sense of social responsibility, including our willingness to make reasonable sacrifices for the good of larger groups.”
Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, fond memories of uni. It was like another world altogether (the make-believe kind). Yep, good times.
It actually took quite a while after uni for the real world to purge me of all that sanctimonious, delusional ideology they filled me with. Still, I consider myself fortunate - some people NEVER make it back to rationality!!!
Yeah, ummm, how to respond to your post chucky?
for amusement value I gotta!
You still haven’t achieved rational and are not what I would (IMO - for Mizu) consider purged of sancitmonious delusional ideaology. The use of those 3 words indicates the irony of your own delusion.
“another world (of the make-believe kind)” Describes 80% of your posts.
chucky = S.D.I. (his catch phrase) Sanctimonious Delusional Ideaogy. How many times have we heard you say that? Please explain it’s meaning - I didn’t go to UNI.
Or am I the only one;
A) to get your intended irony.
B) taking the bait.
Sigh. Face, meet palm.
You’re in a good place right now, spaz, so I’ll refrain from mercilessly dissecting that drivel. Instead, I’ll offer a little analogy about some of Australia’s political parties:
- A vote for the Coalition is like investing in superannuation. It’s boring, not at all cool, and sometimes you’ll wish your money was spent elsewhere - but even though there’s still no iron-clad guarantees, it’s a fairly safe bet in the long run.
- A vote for Labor is like spending that same money on a bag full of scratch-and-win tickets. There’s still a remote chance of a payoff somewhere along the line, but either way, you’re left with a huge pile of expensive waste at the end.
- A vote for the Greens is like blindly handing a big wad of cash over to a dodgy fortune teller. You’ve recklessly squandered your money, no doubt about it - but if you were crazy enough in the first place to do it, there’s still a good chance you’ll walk away happy, with a head full of hope and promise (no matter how ridiculous those hopes and promises may be).
Not voting (because you spent the time snowboarding/surfing/skating) will result in a $50 fine. Money well spent when you realise you didn’t waste your time or invest any emotion or thought into choosing a party who promises to do the opposite of everyone else but when elected does exactly what all pillows do - nothing.
Hehehe
(thanks chucky - see boardworldians he can exercise restraint - to a degree)
Happy with auto correct “pillows” for pollies.
It works
Sigh. Face, meet palm.

Pretty much agree with this!!!!!
Although ya gotta stop smackin yaself in the face, cause I think it’s makin ya eyes roll around in ya head?????

Do you bother voting Chucky? or just have a standing date with a Judge every four(ish) years
Now that we are into renaming things like Mount Diablo, President Obama wants to rename the San Andreas Fault. His suggestion, Bush’s Fault.
Obama even gets a mention in skips post of the Alta V Snowboarders vid!!!!!

Obama follows the typical leftard policy line - it’s always ‘someone else’s fault’.
