Of course they need a very strong, firm talking to, threats like these cannot go unaddressed. So as well as a very firm line in the sand being drawn for these kids, I truly call for love, support & compassion to be shown to all involved in this situation, and let that be the teaching. Give them something different, something real, something that reaches inside & helps them work through what they have done & to find for themselves the wrongness of their actions, and to find for themselves an appropriate response, and to find for themselves self forgiveness and a new maturity.
