Man says he had no clue he was married in annulment application
SOME men attract the ire of their wives for simply forgetting their wedding anniversary.
So spare a thought for one Russian woman whose husband claims he can’t even remember getting married.
The 80-year-old told a court that despite living with his better half for 34 years he could neither recall their wedding ceremony, nor agreeing to marry at all, RIA Novosti reported today.
And when it came to the wedding certificate bearing his signature, his memory was equally foggy, the news agency reported.
“The appellant views this marriage as invalid as he doesn’t remember giving his approval, attending the marriage registration ceremony or signing the marriage certificate,” read a statement released by a court in the country’s southern Chelyabinsk region.
“He has no recollection of any of these events.”
By claiming no knowledge of the matrimony and having the union annulled instead of divorcing, the retiree would get to keep the apartment the couple shared until breaking up in 2008.
His bid for an annulment was thrown out, however, in a case court officials were unlikely to forget.

pretty funny hey! there is a whole lot of episodes but most of them are only in Norwegian with no translations. There is a really funny one where they strap binoculars to there heads backwards so everything is really small. soooo funny!
