Credit Cards are evil.
Agreed, but a necessary one unfortunately.
My one piece of advice is for when those letters start coming for you to apply for your ‘pre approved’ $5k / $10K / $20K credit limit….DON’T.
If you have half a brain Lach, you won’t be silly with it!
Yes that is the plan can’t go too worn with $2000 and 5 months interest free.

oh yea i got that bit, i thought he was reffering to the pre approval part
Because people who need $20k on a credit card are the people most likely to not pay it back.
If you keep it within your means, then you should never have an issue.

Yeah but the pre approval is what sucks people in!

oh yea, i get pre approval letters and emails for 25k loans and credit cards a fair few times now. my initial thought, F#[k that!
Always knew you were clever!
(As your mother I take full credit for that!)
I used to sign up to increase my credit limit.
In the early 2000’s my mate was starting up a business and needed cash to finance it - I used my no-interest-free-period card and loaned him the money.
BIG stupid risk!
But it paid off. 10years down the track his business is thriving and he gives me work every few weeks with decent pay.
(He paid off the loan plus the interest incurred within a week).
But it could have gone very bad with interest being calculated daily!
stoked for next weekend =D snowweeezz
