I must confess. I buy through Burton direct because of special treatment that they give to those who work in the industry. Burton is a sponsor of AASI and the support they give is very important to our organization.
I send all customers to my local shop and help “advertise” for them. This is what Burton wants us, and expects us to do. I dont send people to online shops at all. I support my local shop through advertising and promotion any way that I can.
In fact that reminds me I need to get set up with some stickers from them to get on my new board.
Being an instructor and trainer and supervisor when on the mountain. I am kind of a walking advertisement.
