That is true
This year i tore my Medial Meniscus (inside of my knee cap) on a day trip we did down the snow. I fell in soft powder and my legs kept going on the board and my knee popped. All was good for the rest of the day no issues, got in the car and i was driving. Went to get out of the car at Cooma to fill up and couldnt walk and was like that for 4 weeks till i went and saw a doctor as my usual “She’ll be” attitude and my walk it off remedy didnt work for the first time ever (i know im suprised to, must come with turning 25 this year! lol)
Finally got some anti inflammatory tablets (50mg Voltaren) into me and was back down on the slopes a week later. Still a bit tender but She’ll be!
Meh!
When i was a chef I cut the tops off every finger on my left hand! LOL
Are you talking about that bit north of where your fingernail ends? I’ve had Chefs (different schooling where I’m from) worry that about me when I was a prep cook. Not my first attempt unfortunately, At an earlier age I learned that bread knives with slice Cleanly - almost through a knuckle if you are determined . .
I won’t die without scars, that’s for sure.

Lots of little injuries but the main one being a pretty big impact on my ass. A couple of months on and it’s still painful to sit although it’s finally starting to look a little more “normal”. I’d post the photo but that didn’t go down well last time!
