If you think you will still rip out your unic and ride it a fair bit cos you really love to ride it on the park days, I’d say PYL and have a quiver. Do you think you will still want to ride your Unic if you have the Greats? (spose you wont really know till you ride them)

As you said, I don’t know till I ride theme. But I’m afraid that the only board I really really like out of my current quiver would become obsolete.

I know that I like camber in the park and didn’t like the TD too much in park, BUT I haven’t ridden a camrock in park.

I can’t understand how you couldn’t ollie with the cambered malolo. Did you have your bindings set all the way back?
Just a note, camrock feels totally different to the uninc and turbo dream.
Wouldn’t the pyl do the same thing as the uninc?

I agree with this. You’re not going to stop loving your Uninc and I’m sure you’ll use it till it dies, hence the PYL will probably be the smarter choice and you will love it on steep/deep/fast days. If you were only going to ride one board, Greats is the best option, but you said it yourself, you prefer camber for park.

Probably had the bindings too far back at first. Later moved theme forward and it was better, but newer really liked it all over the mountain.

The Pick Your Line (159 or 161) starts to look like a winner. Over all makes more sense.

Thanks for all the help! I really like this forum smile

Yes get the PYL! I’ll think the 161 will suit you better, unless you like riding shorter boards

Hey guys
Sorry a bit late to join the convo.
If you were after a board to replace your un inc I would say get the greats, it replaced my 2008 unic gigi 158, and I haven’t looked back. I actually at the time want completely looking to replace my uninc, but the greats took over.
But if your looking for a powder board for deep japan or similar powder then id go pyl, its designed as a powder directional board, so think if you had no intention of riding park our hard pack on the pyl, it would b great. Definately awesome board to add to a collection.

Oh lester talk ed to the guys at the circle in whistler. Their expecting the boards to start turning up by the start of oct. He said last time he spoke to the yes guys that their just waiting on the last boards to ship out from the factory.

Went to my local shop to see if they had the PYL, but it turned out nobody imports YES nor Jones in Finland this winter. I wanted to support the local shop, but if I want that board I have to order it online.

On the other hand they had YES Big City for 299 e, but it’s only 158. So I’m not sure if it’s big enough for my needs. Should be great board though. Also Burton Juice Wagon looked interesting.

What surprised me about the Big City was how little it had camber between the bindings (or at least it looked like it). So I’m afraid the shape won’t be much different from my Turbo Dream.

I’m not sure if it’s some kind of pre-production model, since it’s base graphic was different from the production model. It had the same base graphic as the 157 Basic

So what I’m asking is if someone who has the Big City could describe me how is the camber profile in it. Thanks!

Does anyone have any experience with the Juice Wagon?

If it’s not what I’m looking for, I’ll go with the Big City (might be too short) or order the PYL from somewhere else.
