SUP then kayak then SUP this morning.

Was good. Going to feel it tomorrow though.

Been surfing on the SUP as it’s been so flat of late but this morning I went down and did some sand dune sprints.  To be more precise I did some ol man waddles up a dune, my knees and my legs in general feel pretty wrecked after this season.

Clocked up a bit over 80km’s of walking in the last 7 days.

Going to start running next week cause its faster smile

How did the rest of your season go btw?

I went for a run up hill and “off piste” wink today. Then when I got home I did a bunch of sets of squats and lunges with weights. I’m planning on being seriously in shape for Canada. So I’m working more on legs, core and cardio than I normally do.

Well after 3 Months of holidaying I made it back to the gym this morning. I’m going to go before work now so I have more time to skate, ride, snowboard etc after work.

Quick 30 min session this morning 10 min run, chest/arms.

I was doing kickboxing for a while 3x/week but it was at 7:00 pm, such a shitty time slot if you want to do other things after work. I didn’t mind going, but I’d way rather skate or ride instead. I had a lot of time to think about things on my trip LOL

Tuesday - Yog, 2km
Wednesday - Yog, 4.2km
Friday - Yog, 4.1km
Saturday - Surf ski, approx 5km. Bike, 6km

Been doing 1000 steps at Mt dandy once a week lately. Getting back into running as well after about 8 months off. Just running 3km twice a week at the moment but planning to up it to 5km this week.

also did my first fitness kickboxing class this morning. Loved every minute of it!! (except the 5 minutes after drills where I thought I was going to die) plan is to go 3 times a week and do fitness kickboxing to learn the basics and then maybe start some muay thai classes.

This week;

Monday - Kayak - Squad class. Lots of drills, lots of fun
Tuesday - Ballet class. First time in years.
Wednesday - Softball. First game back for the summer. Tore not one but two adductor muscles in my leg.

Physio has put a ban to sport for a couple of weeks.  downer

Definitely should. It’s such a beautiful walk, and even when it’s a hot it stays pretty cool. Only downside this time of year is that it’s near impossible to get a car park. Have had to park about 800m away on the road the last few times because there have been so many people there!

Hope the leg heals up soon!

Yeah, I’d imagine it would be pretty busy at this time of year. I’ve also been thinking of checking out Wattle Park for some walks/trails.

I’m currently in Mackay for work and there is a circuit along the river & beach & around the town, it’s about 19kms and im riding my pushy around that every arvo, as long as it doesnt storm, currently done 4 out of 5 days, just over 2 weeks left till we go home for xmas

I think I’m finally active enough to start posting in this thread again. I have been swimming about four times a week, and playing soccer with Chilli almost every day (he’s a lot of work haha). We head up to the park and we both run around for a good 30 minutes.

I have also been lifting light weights, doing pushups, and stretching daily. I’ll be in the Bahamas very soon, and I know Michelle is going to kick my ass. She just finished her personal training course and I think I’m going to be her guinea pig. I’m going to be playing tennis and swimming a lot over there as well. I’m really looking forward to it actually.
