Just would like to put a good word in for James from best flights. He’s been brilliant so if you need any flights, ring up and ask for him!

Sounds good cheers for the tip!

Go Ash!!

Don’t forget that you need that cash when you enter the country as well at applying stage!

Fingers crossed for you! It would be great if you are there this season as I am coming to visit!

Thanks OZ, I should be sweet once the income starts to flow again sooooon :D still looking for a 2nd job though…

He wasn’t the d!ckhead you spoke to earlier?

No, of course not! I wouldn’t recommend someone who’d been an idiot to me! the bad guy who was extremely unhelpful was Thomas. If you ring them and he answers ask for James or Madeline! haha

I’m hopeless, it’s a day since I got back from my last weekend of the season and I’m online this arvo looking at flights and packages to Europe, Japan and Canada.  Looks like I’m spending my comms before it’s even in my account, hmmmm.

Canadian working visa approved :D still not 100% whether I’ll be heading over yet as I dont have a job yet and am pretty poor. We’ll see. If I dont head over this season I’ll definitely be there next.

^ Nice work Ash!

I’ve got flights booked MEL > LAX > MEL for Feb. Current plan is to fly from LA to Vancouver then spend a week driving to Calgary stopping at Whistler, Sun Peaks & Revelstoke. Then fly from Calgary to Denver then either drive or fly in to Telluride and spend a week there before flying back in to LA and home.

The road trip is dependant on a friend and his mate getting their shit into gear so if they bail I think I may just hit up Whistler for a week, I know of enough people doing the season there that I should be able to find people to ride with most days.

Work may have other ideas about things though and there is a slight chance I may need to cancel my trip so I haven’t booked anything besides the LAX flights so far.

On the 2nd I will spend some time with my friend and her family with hopefully a side weekend trip to Tahoe! It will be fun to take the kids as I don’t think they have seen snow!

On Monday the 7th I fly up to Seattle enroute to Whistler. On the 13th I fly back to San Fran and onto my flight home!

Purchased my Eurorail pass this week and my flights to Whistler.

Nothing left to do but countdown to departure day!

Only 34 to go!

Looking more and more likely that my trip is off. Work asked me yesterday to see if it was possible to cancel my flights.

What!!!

That sucks. I get so angry for people when I hear stuff like that!

Whilst xmas isn’t the most ideal time for a holiday a least i know mine wont be cancelled from work!

Eh, it’s not confirmed that I’ll need to cancel as of yet but if I do I’m not really too fussed.

The project that I’ll be working on will be an amazing opportunity and I’ll gain a fuck tonne of experience from it. It’s not like I’ll be cancelling for general day to day work load/job. I’ve been waiting ages to finally get the chance to work on something like this, if it means missing a two week holiday to do it so be it.
