I told you it was a strange setup/feed Oz. Cracker of a system.. just needed a cold pool to mix with this current feed. Cmon ullr. Mind you ECL are always a roll of the dice as to whether you get bucket loads of rain or snow.
Should be huge surf for you guys though

Looking at that, if that moisture hit right now only the very top would stand any chance of it being snow, the rest would be base killing rain.
Yeh. I dunno. This ones going to be really tight on timing. Hopefully tonight. Perishers elevation may help. Current freeze level is 2000m (there about) so only peaks will cop this round. Be interested to see how tonight unfolds.

Well maybe if we all think positive thoughts it will be 50cms of snow…..................
I dunno why the models are saying Thredbo will get 32cms and Perisher/Charlottes to get 14cms, they’re so close that much difference would be difficult one would think.
Thredbo favours an easterly airflow from memory. They usually do best with an ECL. (I think!!)

The forecast just got a little better and a bit worse as well.
Ozgirl I am positively thinking that’s just some melted snow on the cam or condensation on the camera housing due to being hit with a bit of sun. The BOM doesn’t show any precipitation at Perisher yet either…........
But this stuff is getting closer
and the temps are coming down but I don’t think fast enough
