We were there 
did only about 3 1/2 hrs but it was a good start. Mainly spent the day helping static out and he is now successfully linking turns!!! 
whats it like down there??? im super keen for next weekend! Sydney weather is crap at the moment so wish i was there this weekend!!!!
way too busy!! but overall it was a very decent start to the season
Yeh the lift line was huuuuuuge but not many seemed to be coming down the mountain?! Weird, more people in line then actually sliding. Was fairly warmish too, wore a tshirt 
Snow was hardpacked with a soft layer on top, but great for this time of the year!
Saw on the Perisher website that they are donating the proceeds from tickets sales this weekend back to the local community. Good on them. Hopefully they break the $25k that they are aiming for. Its just a shame that the tickets aren’t $35 all season. I remember when I first started riding in 1988, tickets were $47 I think.

They had 15cms last night so anyone going today is gonna have a blast!!!
$35 tix yes, also NP entry still summer rates @ $16. Locker hire was only $5 too, nice cheap day out
