Perisher 2012
I know that Thredbo KT has a Troop Carrier that takes their Staff up the hill!!!!! Had it for a few years now!!!!!
The Troopy is for late night staff or super earlier only.
The Perisher bus is a paid bus - $3 ea way if paid in a pack of $10. But again only for staff.
Anti, my parent wont get out of bed early if the don’t have to but my dad may be going to work at the time so he will be going up the hill anyway!
Just had a look, and Greyhound go to Thredbo!!!!!
Have ya double checked with them, anti?????

Yeah I looked for services terminating at perisher front valley and there weren’t any for the day I was looking at for some reason… Anyhoo Maybe the driver will drop me at the skitube if I’m nice

Just walk into Gloria Jeans and go “I’ll buy coffee if someone will give me a lift to Perisher or the Tube”
When I worked down there, I would always stop if there was someone trying to hitch. Better than driving up by myself.
Though I never once got any “incentive”

Yeah the buses don’t go to Perisher.
Only Ski Tube or Thredbo.

And The Station is not really in Jindy, mate!!!!! It’s a bit of a walk (5-6 ks)!!!!! Jindy is a great little town though!!!!! I like it a lot!!!!!
Had a great 5 days down at Perisher with DRC and RPS. Definately have been improving on my riding heaps over the days, DRC has given me some pointers and i have been putting them into practice and feel like im progressing nicely. Have seen a fair bit of the mountain now, last season i only rode around Perisher. Some great stories from the trip that im sure DRC will cover. Looking forward to getting in some more days down there, loving being back on the board.
