going skydiving this saturday at woolongong
Did you see the show on the telly last week when the guy got the rope caught around his neck?
The instructor got it caught, passed out and the video dude was able to get in and release the reserve 7 seconds before impact 
The guy doing the tandem was unaware and thought it was how it always happened 
He still looked totally stoked 
I love to do it.
yeah that is why we decided o go to Woolongong at least we will see water and beaches and what not.

After i jumped my tandem guy showed me a vid of him cutting the main shoot free and pulling the reserve. Shows what a pro he was as the guy who was strapped to him had no idea and was having the time of his life. The look on his face when he found out what happened was priceless!
my dad did it and he was tipping the scales at 110kg then, i cant remember what the limit is…
one thing i cant understand is the people who do it out at Appin… you get to see a shitload of paddocks, bush etc. when not even half hour away you get a better view the whole way down.
With gear I think its like 98 kilos tops

I did it at Appin but my mates dive out there all the time.
Sydney Skydivers have the backpacker market cornered. I don’t think a lot of people know about the gong.
But yeah i suppose i would have preferred beach. But i liked being able to jump and interact with my friend, although i was so scared i didn’t even notice the second time she came over to say hello whilst free falling. And even though i knew and trusted my tandem i still shit myself!

Don’t let him freak you out man. I sky dived at Wollongong a few months ago and it was SO AWESOME!
It’s such an incredible view Lanox. And they let you take the reigns and fly it once the parachute is open.
And you land on the beach! It’s gotta be the coolest place to jump for sure.

I did it for my 18th birthday. But i didn’t know about it till 2mins before everyone was gettin on the plane, they trick me into thinking that we were going for a family BBQ. But i was wrong, soooo wrong…...
So glad i didn’t pull out!!
