Hi y’all.
Was going to post here but ended up with my first post else where.
Got invited by Jeremy from another forum and I had to have a peek.
Anyways, name’s Andy and I’ve been boarding about 6 years now I think.
I’ve got my partner working in Whistler, so have been there twice over the last year and looking at going again this Dec and pretty much after that. Funny that she never used to like snowboarding.
Been to NZ pretty much every year since I picked it up and I’m jetting off in a week for 10 days. But in the meantime, as I’m down south, doing day trips to Buller.
Anyways, I’d like to think I’m a very technical rider as I have a very technical mind, working on picking up my ground and park tricks but really love the free riding, especially at speeds.
Currently working at breaking my 105kmph record going down the showcase run in blackcomb.
I love boarding and right now even though I’m a bit of a corporate whore, I’m working on trying to get my act together to move over to be with with my shredbetty. Hopefully I get to shred with and learn from some of you folks out there.

Yeah.. funny thing was she wasn’t keen on going but I forced her to go. It was like. “Well I’m over 30 now I’ve missed the bus but you’re just on the cusp, you go for 2 months you hate it it’s $4k wasted, that’s fine you earn that back in less than 2 months of full time work. But if you miss out on this… you can never get it back.”
Sure enough 1 season became 2 seasons because forever if I can.
AT least maybe I have a way in if she gets permanency.
Otherwise I’ll have to start looking at other options…. Not sure what, but other options.

I just turned 28 and everyone in Canada thought I was like 22 for most of the season…
I still have not aged from 26 apparently… Its kind creepy how I apparently have looked the same for almost 10 years!

(I’m 27 and everyone thinks I’m between 18-21… They all think my 23yro sister is older than me..). But I don’t mind.. Because in 20 years when I look younger than her…
