one-day trip in JAPAN! (question)

hi,

me and my mate r heading to japan from nov 22 to dec 9 and were planning on just travelling honshu and hokkaido and not riding becuase it will be the very start of winter. however iv been convinced we could do a cheeky one-day ride on the hokkaido mountains in late november.

so i was wondering which exact resort would be the best for an early season day-trip? including factors such as accessibility because we dont have much time and would dont really want to treck hours (from say Sapporo) just for a day-trip.

I’m not sure about the logistics of your day trip, but as an option you could look into riding the snow domes in Tokyo. I believe there are eight in Tokyo, I didn’t have time to go to a snow dome while I was there, but apparently they are very well run and the park features are excellent. You can ride for a few hours in the morning then explore the city in the afternoon.
