i will get the docotr to strap on a board on their way out of the womb
I’ve got footage of my 3yo nephew on a rental snowboard - and that was about 4 years ago…there is more demand for mini snowboard gear every year so I’m sure it can be done!
I knew that video was going to surface!!
The kid is a freak of nature!
But looking forward to the video footage of your mini cabby breaking the record for the youngest on a board!
nah not too soon
i think there could be some serious issues with a child that young hitting the deck
prob wont start boarding until 4-5 ish ..... or until it can pay it’s way ......
fyi at Hotham snow school they don’t recommend boarding until the kid hits about 8, something to do with small muscle group development. they will, of course, happily take your money if you want to put the kid in anyway
when i say boarding i prob mean tobogganing or snowplay
. . . but, he, she it will kill my snow season :(
Huge congrats, Caboose!
Sure, it may put a dent in this season, but once your kid gets on a board, you get to relive the reasons why you fell in love with snowboarding in the first place - and every season from then on will be twice as good as anything you’ve ever experienced previously. That’s only one small reason why having a kid is the best thing ever.

Meh. Seriously outdated thinking.
This is where it’s at these days - and these are popping up everywhere across the US.
