Just a thought, but if anyone has an efficient/quality way of making digital copies of these vids, why don’t we pool all our old vids together and make some awesome compilation DVDs? I’ll donate all my old snowboardn vids to the cause (I think I have somewhere between 10 and 20 of them). Anyone got the ‘Whiskey’ series?
it is possible that I might have made copies of some of these vids. The way I did it was to use an old Sony Handicam video camera as an analogue to digital converter (it has a mode to do this), with the VHS player as the analogue source and a program on my PC as the destination. The resulting files are unfortunately huge (say 6GB), but I’m sure they could be compressed down somehow.

I’ve got True Life on VHS and somewhere my brother has Upping the Ante. I watched that when I was about 12 or 13 (a good 10-12 years before I ever strapped into a snowboard) and fell in love with snowboarding and Terje’s riding in particular.
