A better look at Gigi Rüf’s new 2013 Slash snowboards.
Those boards look sick!!!!!
Jeremy Jones with one of his new 2013 ‘Carbon Series’ boards. So much for ‘biaxial’ or ‘triaxial’ strips - he’s gone for the entire topsheet!
Those boards look sick!!!!!
Agreed. It’d be even more impressive if the production model of the one Gigi’s holding had more of the wood core visible.
Venture Snowboards have an impressive line of splitboards, and I’d love to try this 2013 pow board (it’s called the ‘Euphoria’) in bottomless Japow - but I wouldn’t be so keen on riding it back to the lift.
In my opinion, Sims dropped the ball years ago in terms of snowboard production. This board, however, indicates they may not have just picked it up again, but they’re running with it.
This is their new 2013 ‘E-Board’ with ‘X-Wedge’. OK, so the name’s a bit tossy, but those weird ribs are actually built in 2.5 degree cants. Nice.
It’s also nice to see they’ve moved their production to Canada (Quebec).
Everybody needs a Chuckbuddy.
Check out their ‘pro models’, with cool old school board graphics - that’s Jamie Lynn and Terje. I’m keen on seeing what board graphic they used for the Terry Kidwell model.
Hahaha sweet
But where’s the Chucky pro model?
More from the Jones 2013 line. I’m liking the clean look of the latest Hovercraft.
Hahaha sweet
But where’s the Chucky pro model?
Hehe, the only chance of me scoring a “pro model” is if I take up man-whoring.
This particular Burton 2013 ‘Family Tree’ model has my interest. It called the ‘Juice Wagon’, an it’s equal parts pow board and freestyle stick - with a bit of taper thrown in for float (12mm). Not at all fussed on the graphic though.
The rest of the YES 2013 ‘Greats’ collection. This pic gives you a better look at the asymmetric tips/tails and how they relate to effective edge.
I’m sure there will be one for Craig Kelly too.
You’d think so, but I don’t think there is. From memory, they’re all current riders, just ones who really made their mark.
I stand corrected. Put me down for a 158. Stoked!
Here’s a prototype from Burton - jumping on the noback bandwagon. Check the reflection in the cabinet for a better idea of what they’ve got going on.
Freaky alien shit from a 686/Dragon collaboration.
