Will I need High Visibility lenses/goggles for Japan?

Have just done some more detailed browsing through dragon’s site (specifically the rogue range)

Would I be correct in saying that the yellow/blue ion lens would be better in low light conditions than the blue ion lens? In the description they say the same thing i.e good for low light - bright but the yellow/blue seems to have higher light transmission. Just wanted to confirm that that is the deciding factor i.e higher the transmission the better

These both seem to be a fairly all round lens, looks like my oakleys might not get much use after this which is a pity as I love the design.

in my excitement of going to japan i completely forgot about getting some low light lens for my goggles, thanks for the reminder!

You were still pre-occupied with your rad pants again, weren’t you?????

Yes, the yellow/blue ion would be better in low light than the blue ion. Pink ionised would be better still. Yellow would be better again. The higher the light transmission, the better they will perform in low light.

Personally I would go for pink ionised or yellow, however no Rogue frame comes with yellow. Pink ionised would be a good call.

Excellent thanks mate, would either of the lenses be your go to in Australian conditions or would they be to light?

I’m just trying to find the balance between 1 all rounder goggle vs dedicated hi vis + existing oakley combo

Brilliant Mizu exactly what I needed thanks for taking the time to post that.

No wukkas, drc!!!!!  shaka

I won a pair of Rogues (My second pair), and I also won the spare lens, so I went for a yellow lens to make two pair that are ready for anythin that mother nature can throw at me!!!!! So sorry, I can’t tell ya how much they were!!!!! Around $70 value I think off hand, but rider will set that straight!!!!!

My first pair have a Gold Ion lens!!!!!!
