CableWake day - Penrith
I’m really keen to get back into wakeboarding this summer.
Being a board sport maybe there is room on BW as part of the site sometime in the distant future.
Anyone else interested in doing a BW wake day soon?
I’m keen to start getting into it after this weekend - we can make it another weekend or even do a few over summer or weekdays.
With 10 or more there is a discount so once enough put their names down we’ll set a date.
Option 1- Party/function during opening hour
1 hour skiing $29
2 hours skiing $39
4 hours skiing $49
Day Pass $59Must have 10 or more skiers to receive discounted rate.
BBQ facilities are available on request.
This includes all of the basic equipment and coaching!! You can use kneeboards, skis and wakeboards!
The included equipment cannot be used over kickers and sliders but Pro Wakeboards and Wakeskates are available to hire and can be used on the kickers and sliders.

Cables is so much fun! I would love to do this but unfortunately I don’t have any spare weekend days till I leave for Canada.
Just throwing it out there, if you have never done it, be prepared to faceplant a lot lol.
And 2h is plenty work out for your arms till your muscles get used to being pulled along etc.

I’m the same boat as Jeremy, no free weekends left before I head overseas - have been really keen to check this out, have had some mates do it and they’ve all raved about it.

How and Where to start is Cables in Penrith…
You go there and pay $40 for 2 hours of wakeboarding, full gear hire and they give you a quick idea of how to do it.
You go with the Boardworld guys and we give you hints and tips as well.
Then we have a BBQ and some beers and a fun day is had by all!
Cables is the easiest way to learn to wakeboard.

I haven’t wakeboarded for many years and never done cable. We could do it on a weekday and maybe get jez and others who have busy weekends to attend.
Dec dates
Sat 3rd, 10th, 17th, 31st (new years wake party?)
10th & 17th could be a hassle for me as I have a big video job on the Sundays after - but I’ll still go.
17th is the day after my work Xmas party so thats my least preferred date (as I’ll be hungover as all hell!!!)
3rd or 10th seem like a good starting point.
