We got 6cm of new snow overnight. It looks nice out there. I’m heading up to meet some of the crew very soon.
Nicee, I’ll be heading out to San Francisco tmrw until the 24th. Gonna shred either northstar or heavenly for 3 or 4 days :D
Make sure we see photographic proof of this new snow!!!!!
The Today show on channel 9 has been visiting each of the Canadian ski resorts each morning during the weather segments with Steve Jacobs. It looks like they are at Whistler this morning, they showed a bit of the village then did the first tracks down the mountain. Lot’s of Aussies jumping around in the background but didn’t notice any boardworld shirts!
Rider’s Blog: Day 10
What a sensational day it was! With 8cm of fresh snow, good friends, and sunshine up top, this was definitely my best day of the season so far. Finney and Beau were texting me early, so I got myself ready and tried to catch up. I met Finney, Marc, Chantelle, and Bent (a guy from Norway who likes to ride really fast) over at Harmony and we sneaked over to the top of the t-bar to get some fresh tracks to Peak Chair.
We went over to West Bowl and got some nice powder turns over there. The groomers were in excellent shape today: smooth, fast, just the right amount of fresh snow and perfectly groomed. We rode all over the place, mainly ending up at Red Chair. We caught up with Beau and also a few of Marc and Finney’s friends. We had a group of 10 people and we all bombed a super fast run from the top of Red all the way down to Creekside - it was awesome! So fast and lots of nice rollers to fly off.
We did another couple of runs from the top of Red down to the village. We hit Crabapple which was also in awesome shape. The ride down to the village was awesome. I have to give props to Beau. He has only done two and a half weeks of snowboarding and he absolutely rips. The guy has some serious skills and no fear of going fast, that’s for sure.
I caught up with two friends, Nancy (darb’s wife) and Ange, who are visiting Whistler for a couple of days. Michelle and I went out with Nancy and Ange last night; it was so great to see them! Nancy is setting up an incredible foundation called the B-rad Foundation, which I will tell you more about in another thread. Nancy is recovering from shoulder surgery so we caught up with Michelle (who was teaching) and went for a Peak to Peak sightsee, from Whistler to Blackcomb and back. It was a beautiful day up there and we took some nice photos. I did a quick lap down to Creekside and called it a day. So stoked!
Looking into the mist at the top of Peak.
Drop in: Finney and Chantelle.
Finding some lines.
This is Bent.
This is Beau.
So inviting. Riding Red Chair.
Marc, Bent, and Chantelle. (Gamblor, please ignore the horizon).

Looking over to Blackcomb from Whistler Gondola.
Nancy and Ange.
On Peak to Peak. Michelle and Nancy.
This is Blue from our street. She likes playing in the snow. I looked after her for two weeks last season.
Yeap.. another amazing day out there - as Jeremy said, you can’t beat riding fresh snow with great friends.
I had to leave early today as I had a work thing on from 1:30 so made sure I was up the top early. Met Marc, Chantelle and Bent first thing and we had 2 great runs from peak around Matthews Traverse to burnt stew trail and one of the t-bar line before meeting up with Jeremy and the others. Hardly anyone had been out there so we had fresh lines pretty much the whole way around. Plenty of nice little natural hits and rolls out to the right of burnt stew trail which you can see in the picture below which shows symphony chair in the distance.
p.s. I’m stealing some of your pics for my facebook account Jeremy
hells yeh looks awesome, supremely jealous!
