Nice write up Finney. Summed it all up nicely. That photo is wicked. I can’t believe how fun those line were out towards Harmony. And to think Peak will open up tomorrow probably… 

and when peak opens there will be even more faceshots..

Rider’s Blog: Days 64 & 65

Yesterday we woke up to 40cm of overnight snow. I had to go to the city yesterday so I only had time for two morning runs with Finney and Chantelle. Still, they were pretty epic and very satisfying. Finney summed it up pretty well.

The alpine stayed shut yesterday and 78cm fell over a 48 hour period. Needless to say, there was a lot of snow waiting for us up there.

Today was bluebird. Such a gorgeous day with barely a breath of wind. Got in line at Peak and had an awesome day up there. Mostly riding with Dan, Finney, and Chantelle for a couple of runs. I took the GoPro out on the pole today so I might have a bit of footage soon.

First run Dan and I hit Everglades. Second run we collected Finney and Chantelle and hit Bonsai. Third run we went through VD Trees. Fourth run we hit up Bagel Bowl. Last run Dan and I went through Bagel Bowl again but dropped the trees and kept riding to Creekside. Big day, deep snow, sunny skies… we’re all beat and very satisfied. Sorry I didn’t have time to go into detail.
