Awesome pics fat!
Been a bit slack posting in here so it’s about time I posted up something.
Without a doubt one of the best weekend trips I’ve had down to the snow in a long time despite the fact that the snow was so average I could have gone to 7-eleven and got a slurpee with more consistency in it haha.
Was awesome to finally meet everyone and catch up with some old friends, it’s been said before but it really did feel like I’d known everyone for years and not just hours when I finally arrived on the Friday night for the dinner.
Was great to be back on a board again having been out for the whole season with injuries, being out there surrounded by the whole BW crew just made it even better. Being on the hill is great no matter what but being surrounded by a whole lot of like minded easy going people who just want to shred and have fun always makes it a much better experience, I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face all day on the hill with the stoke that was being shared by everyone.
Also have to give a shout out to all the sponsors who were involved,
Chemical Storm for the demos and free board giveaway that TJ scored,
Lib Tech/GNU, Burton, YES for the demo boards and bindings
Burton, Radical, Grenade, Dragon, 3RD Chapter and Airhole for the prizes (gloves/beanies etc)
OzSnow adventures for the discounted rates
Sorry if I’ve left any of the sponsors off, there were just so many I can’t remember them all haha.
Also got to give a shout out to the ULLR crew for the brews they provided with the awesome design work on the labels done by Mizu haha
Thanks again to Spaz, Jeremy and Michelle for all the hard work they put in over the months leading up to the event making sure that everything went without a hitch.
Last but not least, cheers to all the Boardworld crew who made it down there, wouldn’t have been half as much fun without all of you. Fingers crossed I can make it back from Canada for next years shred since I can only imagine just how good it’ll be.
Cheers,
Mike.
Sweet pics Osman!!!!!
Love the look on Warrens face toward the real Boss!!!!!
SPANISH COCKELL: OFFICIAL BEER OF THE BOARDWORLD SHRED
Not drinking it in excess is more dangerous!

Totally ditto to what Mike said
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Thanks to all the rad people and sponsors that made it so awesome. Special thanks to Jeremy and Michelle, without them none of it would have happened. You guys rock!!!
The week was a massive success and so so much fun. If that’s how good the first shred was imagine next years, cant wait
Along with all the sponsors, Jezza and Michelle I want to give a special shout out to Tjswish.
Tristan went to great lengths to make sure the Shred Shed happened, he chased extra crew from within his personal friends (you know who your real shred buddies are now Tj) when they didn’t jump onboard he put up over $500 to make sure we could book the place. As the date approached he took up the reigns I’d been holding and got busy sending out PM’s to everyone making sure all money was paid and numbers matched the beds available.
Without Tj I doubt I could have handled everything I had going on at that time (I had reached exhaustion/burnout). Well done mate, and thanks.
I’m glad you won the Octorocker.

When you say Asset, I think of the asset registry at work and it sends shivers down my spine lol.
Thanks for all the nice words Spaz and others. I just wanted to go boarding so I put extra effort in haha. I’ve booked plenty of these for 20+ people before and even worked in the industry of booking people into places so if anyone needs help/advice, holla at me
