Drake Mac 4 Buckle

Hi all,
New to this forum.
I just received from Future Sport a new set of toe straps/caps for my SS bindings.
The question i have is a to how reliable to Mac 4 buckles are as i had i think the mac 5 on my old set. They seem a bit touchy to me in the release mechanism. I don’t want to be caught out the back of Perisher with a broken buckle.
It could just be because i am not used to this style as i have had the drakes now for 4 years.
Anyone have any experience with these your input would be appreciated to either put my worries to rest or to contact the suppliers again.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking exactly. Do you think the buckles on the new set release to easily? Probably best to give them a try when you’re riding next, and just take the old buckles in your pocket in case there is a problem. I’m guessing they will work fine though.
