Board builders materials in Oz??

Are there any board builders on here?

I really want to build a few boards and experiment with some shapes. I can source extruded base material, core materials and glass/epoxy fairly cheap locally. But there doesn’t seem to be anyone in the country who sells edge steel. I don’t really want to buy from overseas, the weight of the steel would cost a lot in shipping.

1: Is there somewhere/someone who can source it?
2: Is there an alternative I could use?

@Yogibear, I actually have no idea but you might want to reach out to the guys at Catalyst Snowboards. They build custom boards in Australia so they might have some pieces they can sell you so you don’t have to import a whole bunch. Might be worth a try.
