The Stepchild Team hit Whistler
This week the Stepchild Crew are in Whistler to shred at the Camp of Champions Summer Park. While they’re here they agreed to play a game of SKATE in Showcase (one of our board stores). Stepchild vs. the COC kids best skaters and their coaches.
They were all really good skaters too which was surprising. After the game I had a chat to 2 of my favourite boarders of all time - Simon Chamberlain and JP Walker… uh son!

Yeah I was pretty stoked. They are really chilled friendly guys too which is cool. I wish I had a pass for COC so I could ride with them but I can only ride the public park with my pass. If I can I’ll film the camp from the sidelines and post some vids up here.
Spent the last two seasons at WB and gotta say next to the mountain, the coolest part about that town is all the pros you get to see irde daily…sooo cool!! I wish my parents sent me to COC when I was a kid…wow what a summer camp that is1!!!

To be fair I only know 1 guy in Whistler that’s taller than me. JP’s riding makes him 10 foot tall in my books.
