I always wanted to try positive angles on my bindings after watching Terje, Craig, Blauvelt, ride down a mountain. It seems all the best turners have forward stance, but my ankle hurts even if I go -6 so I stick with my most comfortable angle -9.
I always wanted to try positive angles on my bindings.
My standard all-mountain angles used to be +24 F +12 R for many years.
Now I ride +18 F -9 R, but for 5 or so runs every morning in spring 2011 (when the groomed snow’s like concrete first up) I had great fun carving on a super stiff, cambered 164 freeride board with a +33 F +18 R narrow stance. It was a hoot!
If my back ankle is not hurtin with those angle I would definitely try positive angle. Right now +21 -9 is the most comfortable,.
Mr Jeremy Jones(es) for me, either of them
One name, two awesome styles of riding
I don’t understand this topic!
It’s the “If” part that confuses me.
Why does the “if” confuses you? What don’t you understand?

Haha I’ve been thinking of saying something similar but then I realise I actually suck

I don’t suck. I ride like a pro. There is no “if i could”!
I’ve help groomed a few pro’s while they were in their younger years. Who all ride better than me now, depends which disciplin of snowboarding also but I ride shoulder to shoulder with pro’s.
I also have the big headed ego of a pro.
Please don’t take me to seriously. I’m half joking.
I totally ride like a pro!!!
(*ummmmm, by “pro”, you mean meth addict hooker, right?)
spaz rides better than a pro, he’s just having a bad day, no week, no month, no year, no life, yea life
Both correct on both accounts.
Not meth addicted chucky my drug comes in a white powdered form.
It’s my life, has something to do with feeding my pow addiction.
