It wasnt super big. The landing sloped away at about 45 degrees. Probably had about 6m/20foot of air.
From the angle it was taken, it looks like it goes forever before you hit the base

Ah, looks really big in the shot. Looks can be deceiving
Yeah, maybe i should take that back…..... it was massive!!!!
Nice soft landing though, about a foot of powder.
Here we go, my very first entry, it’s one of my favorites from the NoHe 2008-2009 season.
Location: Lech, Vorarlberg, Austria
February 2009
EDIT:
Great pic, but keep in mind as mentioned at the start of the thread, if you want your pic judged for the photo comp it has to be from the southern hemisphere current winter season.
EvanL
well unfortunately that means all of us NoHe folks are off-limits then.

Maybe they thought you guys up there would have more of an advantage over us, by the look of your pic the scenery is a whole lot more spectacular
You could have a word to Rider26 and see if they are planning to start another comp around December/Jan for the Northern Hemisphere crew?
At first, when i saw your pic #1, i was like “holy crap… is that a flying board?”
haha it does kinda look like that! I wanted to get a bit higher so i would block out the sun and have more of a silhouette but got this. should have called it riderless board
Guy has a sun for his head!
Evan, I’m more of a fan of your first pic. good timing and the rider looks at ease. It helps when the one your are taking a photo of makes that part easy for you.
