Where In The World?

This thread is for you to talk about places that you have been around the world that you really recommend other Boardworld Members should visit.

I was hoping to keep it to Snow, Skate and Surf. And also a bit more specific than just a country. Maybe some it was some mountain in Europe or a club field in NZ that is unheard of but is just amazing and you had the best time ever there. Or beach in South America that had the best waves, no people and amazing culture to go with it. Or a city somewhere that has unlimited potential for skate spots along with amazing parks.

So Where In The World have you been that is Must Visit place?

I havent done a heap of traveling O/S but I am going to recommend if you head to Japan to snowboard and you are in the Hakuba region, you MUST ride at Cortina. Especially if it has just dumped massive amounts of snow. It is the mountain where i had the best time on my trip and experienced the best snow/terrain! Best in resort tree runs I had, and some awesome steep terrain. Easily accessable backcountry sidecountry riding. Because there is only one or two busses going there for the day, there isnt usally that many people either.

Where In The World Should We Go?

Even tough most people say that Niseko is to “westernized” and it’s full of Aussie’s bein Yahoos,

I’m gonna say Niseko, Japan!!!!!

Great food, great locals and absolutely the best snow in the world!!!!

Other than that, for all of the OS people on here, Australia has without a doubt the best Beaches in the world!!!! Where The Bloody Hell Are Ya????

Yeh I hope people include Aus locations too
