Ben Lomond, the grader got stuck and they had to call in a bulldozer to get the road open apparently!
I’ll take a pic during my lunch if the cloud clears, at the moment its still dumping!
So stoked, taking Friday off work so I’ll have an extra long weekend to shred also!!
Make sure ya bring lots of pics back for us!!!!!
From what I read about Tassie the facilities are very basic, will they have anything open or will you be hiking?
Yep it’s pretty basic setup with 7 surface lifts. They have just put 6 snow guns in and have purchased a piston bully groomer to shift the snow around. My mates and I are setting up a not-for-profit terrain park with rails, boxes and a kicker or 2 this year also.
They might not be able to open in time for this weekend so it’ll probably be a bit of hiking unfortunately!!
Cant wait to hit Perisher on Fri/Sat/Sun!!
My mate at Hotham just sent me this photo from his bedroom window this morning
