Apologies if this comes across as spam but I thought you might be interested in a documentary that my old Neversoft colleagues are putting together on Indiegogo.

Basically, it’s a film to chart the popularity of skateboarding and video games in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I’m not directly part of this project but I am a contributor due to my involvement with the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series.
I remember playing a cover disk of Tony Hawk Pro Skater back in 1999. After 10 minutes I was addicted, and a year later I moved out to LA (from the UK) to become part of the series. Joining a team of about 25 insanely talented developers, we toiled over the early versions. It was hardcore but the experience will stay with me for life. 18 years later, my friend Ralph is producing a documentary that charts both the game’s development and the rise of skateboarding in the 90s and early 2000s. Check out their Indiegogo page for more info.
All the best,
Jim

We actually published a couple of articles about this documentary:

I used to stay up all night playing THPS games on PS2. Best of luck with the campaign. Thanks for the post.
