I’d love to turbo charge our naturally aspirated Subie!!!!!
It already has 180kw!!!!!
Although I would no longer posses a licence if I did!!!!!
Mizu, what subaru have you got currently? 180KW NA is impressive. Is that Wheel KW or Factory rated Engine KW?

Pretty sure that’s factory rated!!!!! It’s the 3.0R!!!!!
Goes like the clappers!!!!!
I own 2000 Lancer 4 door, but would much rather one of these
I took this the last time I visited.
That is a sad sad picture… for numerous reasons!!
It only gets sadder…
ouch

Yeah, i know a few guys that have turbo’d the Subaru 6 Cyl. and they go like a bat out of hell. Very impressive.
Only problem with a subaru is they are reliable until you start modifying them haha.
Im looking at doing a snow build for this year, i want to get an older outback and fit a H6 3.0L to it with some fat JDM wheels.

Did they turbo charge the H6 or the 3.0R?????
Ya right about the reliability thing!!!!! Would be sweet if Subie brought out a factory 3.6R Twin Turbo!!!!! Hahahahaa!!!!!
What’s so great about the big flat-6 engines?
A gen III 2.0 Turbo Liberty Wagon can do 270km/h within a km. That’s a world record!!!
Porsche had all sorts of problems (and people dying) in their big turbo 6’s.
I could only imagine the damage subbie running gear would have with all the turbo’ed power surging through it, made worse when it’s being distributed to all the wheels.

3.0R Naturally Aspirated!!!!!
One was the 3L from an older Subaru SVX and the other was from the 3rd generation 3.0L Outback’s but it was in a 2nd Gen liberty sedan (was making around 450KW@TW)
The Subaru 6 cylinder is a great engine, Well Spec’d in regards to torque and power. I feel that alot of them are let down with the Auto Transmissions. One mate has a 3rd Gen outback with a 6Cyl Subaru engine and has swapped the Auto for a 5speed manual and its a completely different car. Pulls like a freight train to red line. All it has is a 3” cat back exhaust and the 5 speed.
I am a massive petrol head.
currently my snow goer is a ford explorer
but my real project car is something else..
lets see who will recognise?
SR20?
This is my new ride
I’m a mechanic by trade so I’ll be a petrol head until the day I die (although hopefully we can one day create cars that don’t need petrol… but also don’t suck )
I’ve always been a rotary man myself. I’ve been drifting the Jindy mountain passes for 4 years now in a Series 5 RX-7.
And though I loved it to death, people were right when they called me insane to drive it there.
So this is my new Snow Weapon. Her name is Subi <3
I just finished putting some new speaker in tonight.
I’m dying to go for my first blast up the mountains this season!
Low Guido- That engine bay is CLEAN! Wow! Is it going to be a show car?
OK, guessing game… I know that it’s 4 cylinder, fuel injected and turbo. It looks japanese to me but I can’t say I know exactly what it is.
The rocker cover has been changed or it’s sanded and painted so there is no brand anywhere. Hmmmm….
I KNOW I have worked on a car with that weird flat oil cap. But.. can’t.. remember.
I’m thinking Nissan or Toyota. But that oil cap definitely says Nissan to me.
Yeah I think AJ has it, SR20 DET? and you’ve changed the rocker cover.
Ooops I messed up. Delete this post if u want guys.
