If anyone is interested, I have put my car up for sale on carpoint, ad ID 10518016.  In no rush to sell it and if the right money doesn’t come along will hold onto it for another year or so.

Very regretful sale, I love this car but have come to the realisation I need

back seats and a car the girlfriend can drive

LOL best call haha

Well she’s on her P’s, it’s not that she doesn’t want like hell to drive it she legally can’t.  Honestly most of the time it’s not a bad thing that she can’t, my rims and panels are in better shape for it…........................................................

That last statement might provoke an “interesting” discussion at home.

Nice work Banger.

I would have left space for surf/snowboards under the floor though.

Take out the part about driving it to the snow.

Nobody wants a car that has been driven in alpine conditions… Well I wouldn’t buy one if I could help it.

Why?  Not like we salt the roads over here and it’s only ever been up the top when chains aren’t required because chains will not fit!

Avatar

well ppl looking at the add may think we do salt the roads and chains have been fitted then simply pass on it…

haha spaz..thats only phase 1 - floor insulation and bottom layer ply. the real floor will go in over that at the height of that box so i will have 3 drawers, 1 out the sliding door 700x1500 and 2 out the back door 600x1600 all located under that 2nd phase flooring

When I was looking at the photos that’s what I thought I was going to see when the box appeared.

Well, a second floor anyway!

Nthn,

I’m gonna need back seats and due to financing it needs to be through a dealer, with warranty. I don’t know my budget yet.

If you can - I would edit the add.

Bumping up an old thread instead of starting a new one.
I have always been a car nut, although i have only owned one since i got my licence in 2004.
It started its life out as a grandma spec Subaru Liberty 2.2Lt Naturally aspirated AWD sedan, until the motor went pop.
I then completed a conversion using an imported WRX RA halfcut from Japan. Its all been shoe-horned into the liberty shell and is legally registered/engineered.
All work besides exhaust welding has been done in my garage, since converting it a few years ago now i have been modifying it more and more, its now making near 200KW @ all 4 wheels and is stupidly fun to drive. Its on Coilover suspension, has a larger STI turbo on it, STI brakes, body bracing, lightweight flywheel, FMIC, chipped STI RA computer, the list goes on and on, and on and on haha
Its a sleeper of a car, no one expects it to be so quick. Has put shown quite a few SS commodores, WRX’s and Nissan’s what its tail lights look like (all on private roads of course wink
Hopefully these pics work, if not i will have to update when i get home

i was looking into buying one of those a few years ago that had a full wrx sti running gear (everything except the shell, dash, rear seats & chassis was from a wrx sti)
