The first Grasshopper (Mountainwatch) long range forecast for season 2016 is up.
He says El Nino is dying and the outlook is generally good apart from warm sea surface temps in the bight and Tasman leading to possibly more rain events in season.
Before the usual suspects start hopping up and down, this is little more than speculation as we all know individual weather systems during the season tend to overwhelm the statistical outlook anyway.
He just makes that crap up, loosely based on computer models.
Its all a big guess…...... don’t believe the hype!!!!!
Does Frog still do his stuff?
I’ll let ya’s know from ground zero
