Action Cam Pole storage?

For $12 for a basic expendable pole that works fine I struggle to see why anyone would want to deal with the hatridity of a fixed pole. I rode most of my US trip with two cameras and poles, one in each leg cargo pant pocket and hardly noticed them and never fell on them.

I have three of them, even the one I used in Saltwater in Fiji while snorkelling, surfing and scuba diving is still fine. I fully expected it to have rusted up but it hasn’t. Do your self a favour TJ and just buy two of them,  the ease of use is well worth it.
