Why no fly from the Big C?

Cheaper to drive,  plus we’re taking the bro-in-law with us and as he’s already in Sydney just worked easier

Oh god so devo.

Here I am up bright and early cheering on our Aussie aerialist and just did a quick scroll of Facebook.

A friend who just had her 20 week scan on Monday and found out she was having a boy then started feeling unwell the rest of the week got admitted to hospital today.

He was stillborn at 10.30pm last night.

Certainly puts my day into perspective downer

I know! Such a high of a week. Finding out the sex discussing names etc etc.

She mustn’t have know how bad it was during the day cause was being a bit flip about the the whole thing.

I just don’t even know what to say.

Not many of you know that i recently worked for an ob/gyn and the amount of women has used to feel funny etc and be embarrassed when asking to see the dr just for reassurance was staggering. on a daily basis we would squeeze at least one in.

This is a reminder not to ignore your body.

Definitely.. If something is off (more so than normal when pregnant) see a doctor!!

I guess all you can do it be there for her, even if you don’t know what to say / do, just being there for support means so much to people!

(when dad passed away.. All my friends came over that day, (either left work.. Or came straight after) and we all sat in my backyard in the sun.. Hardly a word was spoken.. I was in so much shock, more than anything.. ) but it meant so much to me.. That they say there, as awkward as it was, and spent time with me… )

My sister lost her 3rd child 18 months ago, seeing her afterwards was the most awkward moment of my life. All I could do was give her a hug.
She then found out she is diabetic.

Now she is 8 months pregnant.

Its a very good thing he came back! And got to spend some time with family before this..  it would have been a lot worse had he stayed..  (especially being young..) my sister was 17 when dad passed, and she took it really hard… (his was sudden though, but still… regardless, its always really sad)

Thanks h0z. BIL isn’t a whipper snapper though, he’s late 40s and travels most of the year for work (sports camera). This would have been his 6th Olympics I think, but first winter one.

Young or old, it’s not the way you want your dad to go. Never trust a tree!
