Haha thanks! I hadn’t been in the water for a few days so there was no way I was turning back. The salt water actually did a pretty good job of cleaning it out (and washing away my man tears when my foot slipped across the board during a turn)
I do have to admit to a moment of panic when the water rippled/splashed twice within a few metres of me. I told myself it was just a non bitey type of fish and paddled a little closer to shore with my foot in the air 
My poor mother was on the nebulizer last night - she is not well at all.

Got a text from the owner of HotShots today telling me how good the snow is today - he is calling it DOTS.
I’m meant to be there but “someone” had a stink about a “certain girl” having 2days off school
With a lot of snow forecast this weekend and me not on the hill again until Wednesday I’m devo’d !!! (that is until I get back to the hill and +50cm has fallen since I left last Wednesday).
I still think we have a few more contenders for DOTS left this season!
(in fact I am banking on it since I am not there today either!)

Oh, I think there are more DOTS to come. He’s just frothing since there have been limited good days so far.
Surprisingly the snow has held really well down low all season. Even on days that are up to 13℃. I don’t think anything lower than 1500m holds natural fresh snow longer than a few days anyway.
Devo I have uni all weekend. 9:30am-4:30pm Saturday and Sunday. And it’s two full days of statistics. The joys of being a mature age/distance education student :(
At least I have Belgian Grand Prix this weekend to look forward to. Spa is always one of the best races of the year!
As you’re probably all aware I have done many snow trips this year that have all been fun, this time i go with the AIDS brothers and I get gastro and somehow between them they have managed to get some shit on the back seat of my new Rok that doesn’t vacuum off and what can only be described as a chewing gum like substance all over the floor mat of the same seat position. I’ve only had about 4 people on the back seat of the Rok and despite no food being allowed to be consumed the AIDS brothers have still managed to get shit everywhere, I hope to christ the stuff on the seat cleans out, the $40 floor mats aren’t so bad but I will be pissed if the seat doesn’t come clean.
Maybe i will put the snow gear on the back seat and the AIDS brothers in the tray next time?
