Ah thats rough on both counts.
I had that happen to my rx7. was parked out the front of my parents place, heard someone doing a burnout. About 2 seconds later my neighbour rang and told me to come out front. My rear bar was smashed up and they left some of theirs on the ground.
I drove around with a baseball bat for 3 hours looking for a and early model falcon with a messed up front bar. Was so angry
Yeh, we searched the car parks.. But no luck.. Its never a good time for things like this.. But right now is the worst time.. Just paid rego and now I have a service coming up.. Didn’t really need to spend more money unnecessarily..
aside from that I had a good weekend!

At least you had a great weekend, sux it had to end like that tho!! Can’t imagine what that other driver was doing to cause that much damage in a carpark no less?!
Only things I can come up with, is driving in ski/board boots, too many drinks after a few runs, or they had their car packed and couldn’t see out the back when reversing?

Probably tried to drive wearing boots I would guess, pretty weak not to own up after !!
and that is why I will never have a car that I care about whether it gets hit or not!
Devo, I woke up this morning and my bike battery has died. Since I can’t push it to the mechanics I figured I’d do the swap myself so I called the mechanic to get a battery ready for me and he said he needed the code. So I went to take the seat off to find the code and stripped one of the allen key screws so it’s stuck.
So I needed to call them back and get them to come down and pick up the bike, get the screw out and replace the battery for me (may as well at this point).
So a new battery will probably set me back $300 rather than $100 because 1 screw got locked in place :(.

Cords my $1500 bogan beast would still require a devo post if some bastard did that to me!
You have to fix the light at least as it would be illegal on the road!

Yikes! That’s an expensive battery even without the mechanics bill on it!

That blows Mate!! Do you need a code because the Bike is not very old, or is it a sportbike thing? 2 weeks ago had a not flat but the battery was so low wouldn’t crank fast enough to kick. Tried clutch-jumping it a couple times and ended up pushing back uphill home. needless to say that afternoon I became the proud owner of a battery charger/maintainer…
They wanted to know the exact model of the battery so they didn’t get anything wrong. And since I’d need to get the seat off anyway to swap it, it didn’t hurt.
The old bike had 1 big seat that opened with the key, only my pillion has that now so I needed to use Allan keys to get it off which as you know are hex shaped (which turns into a circle really easily)

Very true - I need 2 different allen keys to get at the battery of the thunderbird, fortunately it’s accessible from the side and I don’t have to fiddle with the seat.

Go to a hardware shop and get yaself an “Easy Out”!!!!!
Then just replace the screw with a new one!!!!!
Yeah, I already took it in. Since I’m likely going to Canada in a few months, I’m seriously not buying anything I may have to dispose of or store. Mum’s not going to be impressed when I ask to borrow the garage lol.
Lights all work..
Mazda is smart with this stuff.. they have an outer clear casing (that got smashed) and an inner red, brake casing and an inner clear reversing casing.. so they are still intact.. so they bulbs won’t get wet or damaged..
