You need a garage mate. This isn’t the first time is it?

First time key scratched near my place, but not first key scratch by any means.

Within 50 metres of my place, I’ve had cars sideswiped, crashed straight into, front bumpers punctured by tow bars about 10 times and rear bumper scratched numerous times through morons “touch parking” - all while parked.

A secure parking space around here would sell for between $100K - $250K, and rent for about $500 a month.

Sorry to hear about your car, Chucky.

Nothing gets me more upset than mindless arseholes like these. Apart from thieves.

Don’t worry mate. Life will get them back in the end.

My brother used to have the same sort of luck as you with his car when he was living in Coogee. He only had streetside parking as well, and at least a few times a year he’d come outside to find his car had either been vandled, or driven into.

Adding another car story to the Devo mix…

Last night the street parking I usually use was full when I got home (thanks to a church service), so I parked on the main road out front of my place.

The street parking sign clearly read 1p between 10am-4pm and no stopping between 4pm and 6pm. (I got home at 830pm and was supposed to leave for work at 930am so I thought I was sweet).

Unbeknownst me the damn area where I parked was part of a clearway during certain hours.

Last night I had dreams of my car being broken into, and a gunman running up and down the street (trippin’), and as I have had my car broken into before I was semi expecting to see it with smashed in windows.

You can imagine my shock when I step onto the street where it was parked and my car was missing!!

Anyway long story short, the RTA towed it to a nearby street and now I owe them $232 for parking in a clearway and a towing fee which I will receive in the mail and which will exceed $170. (I cant afford this b@#chez).

What annoys me the most is that I made an innocent mistake, it wasn’t like I was taking my chances with the clearway, I didn’t even know it was one!

I don’t have high hopes but I’m going to at least try to contest it. The clearway sign was a whole block away, the two signs I parked in between said nothing about a clearway. The unfortunate thing is that there are broken yellow lines on the road so that is probably going to make my chances of getting out of this unlikely. I didn’t think to look for them, I probably wouldnt even know what they meant, my L plates test knowledge is a little fuzzy…

The yellow lines will screw you. Even if you don’t know what they mean, it’s up to you to look them up :(.

Unlucky.

Yeah when I was on the phone to the cops this morning trying to track down my car I saw those damn lines and my stomach sank. :(

Sad news Azz.

Tills, better than snapping a fixed fin, and much easier to repair!
Dam, that reminds me I need to repair a fin on my minimal (my favourite board)

All the “normal” people who take holidays over the Christmas break are back at work today. Which means bye bye to awesome parking spots and the pick of lunch tables in the court-yard!

Sorry to hear about the news, Azz!!!!!

Always sad to lose one of the family members!!!!! That’s why when our mouse catcher (actuall too lazy to catch his own breath) will be the last animal at the Kuma’s!!!!!

Devo for the “Catastrophic Fire Ban” tomorrow, and for the poor Firey’s that have to cope with the devistation caused by arseholists!!!!!

Tills that has happened to me with fcs more than i would like to count.

Chucky I’ll see you in jail if I ever catch someone doing that to my car and actually probably anyone elses, its a c##t act and deserves a beating.  I dont subscribe to rehabilitation for fuckwits like that, violence is all they understand.

So, remember how our gas hose was stolen a couple of weeks ago?

Well, we ordered a new one from Weber and we had a nice BBQ a few days ago.

Michelle and I were home all day today. Took the dog for a walk at 6pm. Went outside to throw some chicken on the BBQ and the whole BBQ was gone. Stolen in a 40 minute window in broad daylight. Gas bottle, stand, BBQ, cover and all. The assholes came back to finish the job. Jumped our 6ft fence to do it. Seriously, who does that!
