New helmet tech

Saw this on Gizmodo the other day.  Some interesting innovation in helmet materials that could make helmets a fair bit safer.

Looks like a big step in the right direction. It would be great to see more reputable snowboarding helmet companies developing and integrating these innovative materials. Anything that minimises the impact of head injuries is a good thing.
